To Audition

If you are interested in auditioning for Orchestra and/or Wind Ensemble, complete the following steps:

​1) Fill out the player information form:

For Symphony Band, no audition is needed:  Simply enroll in ConnectCarolina and fill out this form.

Audition material

If auditioning for Wind Ensemble and/or Orchestra:
•  3-4 minutes of material that demonstrates lyrical and technical abilities.  It is acceptable to use an excerpt of a longer piece or excerpts of multiple works. 

​ Percussionists should prepare short excerpts for timpani and snare drum.  An additional xylophone or other mallet excerpt is strongly encouraged but not required (If you need music click here.)  Note that percussion auditions are separate from wind auditions, and are scheduled on Saturday, August 24.
